Valeria Morgovsky a graduate of the Kiev State Conservatory. She won the award for Best Accompanist at the 1986 International Tchaikovsky Competition. She emigrated to the Unites States in 1990. Since1991 she has been the official accompanist of the Piatigorsky Cello Seminar in Los Angeles, California.

Ms. Morgovsky is currently on staff at Loyola Marymount University as an accompanist and is often engaged in that capacity at the University of Southern California and the Idyllwild School of Music and the Arts. Ms. Morgovsky performed on the KUSC weekly broadcast concert series “Sundays Live” on numerous occasions.

She is currently on staff at Loyola Marymount University. As an accompanist, Valeria Morgovsky has provided accompaniment for many major competitions, including those held in Montreal (Canada), Munich (Germany), Paris (France) and others. Since 2004 she serves as an accompanist for the Beverly Hills International Music Festival.
