VLADIMIR MILCHTEIN
Violin

Professor of Violin of the Music School DIF Guadalajara. He is the Director of the Quintet of Guadalajara. He has also given concerts in Mexico's most important cities at its most prestigious venues: Degollado Theatre, Palacio de Bellas Artes in Mexico City, and others.

Vladimir Milchtein was born in Odessa, Ukraine. After completing his studies at Stolyarsky's School of Music, he graduated Odessa's Conservatory.

Dr. Milchtein started his professional career with the Mussorgsky Conservatory in Ekaterinburg. He completed both his Master of Music degree and his Doctor of Musical Arts Degree at the Tchaikovsky Conservatory in Moscow.

Dr. Milchtein has appeared throughout the world in recitals, as a member of chamber music ensembles, and as a soloist with orchestras in the most important and prestigious concert halls in Europe and the former Soviet Union. As a member of the Miaskovsky Quartet (1st Violin), Dr. Michtein plays more than 70 concerts around the world each year. He has participated in some of the world's leading music festivals, such as the Festival Celebration Mozartiana and the Festival Cervantino de Guanajuato. Since 2005 he is faculty-artist at the Beverly Hills International Music Festival.

Vladimir Milchtein founded the Music School "Del Ayuntamiento de Zapopan " in Jalisco, Mexico. He is also the Director of the Quintet of Guadalajara which performs throughout Mexico and has toured in South America and throughout Europe. Currently, he is Professor of Violin at the University of Guadalajara, Mexico. .
