Concert pianist and winner of Alfredo Casella, Clara Haskil, Alessandro Casagrande, and Rio de Janeiro International Piano Competitions. Concerts in Russia, Hungary, Poland, Germany, Austria, Italy, Belgium, Sweden, Finland, China, Switzerland, So. Korea, Brazil, Japan, Mexico, and the United States.

Born in Varna, Bulgaria, Krassimira Jordan studied in Sofia, Vienna, and Moscow, where she was a pupil of Stanislav Neuhaus and Emil Gilels. In 1981 she was the Gold Medal winner at the Rio de Janeiro Piano Competition. Ms. Jordan has performed with much acclaim as soloist in major cities all over the world. She has appeared as soloist with the Wiener Symphoniker and the Tonkunstler Orchester in Vienna. Each summer Ms. Jordan teaches as artist-faculty at the Bösendorfer International Piano Academy in Vienna, Austria, and the Vienna Music Seminar. Highly regarded as a teacher, her students come from all parts of the world and have won top prizes at International piano competitions in the USA, Europe, and Asia. After ten years as a Professor of Piano at the world-renowned Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts in Vienna, Austria, and her Carnegies Hall debut in 1989, Krassimira Jordan was appointed as Artist-in-Residence and Professor of Piano at Baylor University in Texas.
